jobless people

People at UCLA (university of california, los angeles) have discovered a 13 million-digit prime number. Are people this jobless that they are still finding prime numbers!! and they say we are lukin for the next 1. what is wrong with this people. i wish real mathematicians stopped finding bigger prime numbers n die and started teaching in our insti.

info for interested junta:
1. they had used 75 computers in a network running windows xp for 1 mnth to find the number.
2. they have won a prize money of 1,00,000$. ( i hope this is th cause they were onto findin sch a nmbr)
3.it is the 46th Mersenne prime number.

Mersenne prime number: 2^P - 1 shud be a prime where P is a prime. (for the new prime P = 43,112,609)

underused computing power is used to make the calculations.

Do we need a younger dean???

Lan cut has definitly become an issue in th insti. and the dean in his defense said thst junta are watching objectionable stuff. but that noway stops people watching objectionable stuff because people here are smart enough to download and keep it on their comps. this step was initially taken by the dean of iit bombay. (thank u so mch sir for puttin it to the ears of our dean.)
but a smarter option definitly wud have been making the class rums airconditioned. people rather than staying at home wud want to spnd their time in class. and two split ac's on eithr side of the frst bnch wch wud also b an additional cooling to th prof teachng. now that wud drag most of the junta to the frst bench.
ya it wud cost a lot of money but for an elite instituition in th country it shudnt be a problem when it vll increase th so called "average cgpa" of th insti, wch vll guarantee bttr individuals. and if we can break a small gym n make a bigger gym we shud b able to do this also.

y hockey??

y a game like hockey?
i knw its a very arbit post. atleast for hockey players or for people for whom hockey is passion. ok let me talk to the rest 99.99% junta in the world.
seriousli my friend made a point 2de when he tld me "y do ppl play hockey da??"
then it stricked me. if we carefully wtch th hockey stick its like we r carrying a leg in our hands. the same straight top n th curved end which resembles our feet. n it cant even bnd in middle like our knee. and its a weapon in the hands of a beginner. ofcourse u can raise th hockey stick to places th leg cant evn thnk of.
all the game does is u have to carry a leg in ur hand n move..whn we have two already y do u need 1 mr!!
if u watch a hockey player run u will see tht he has to bnd 4wrd almst mkn 30 degrees to th horizontal. he has to b like tht till he has th ball and he has to run with such a posture. FRANKLI if sch a game ws seriousli needed y dint they make th stick a bit longer so tht u can run normally atleast.

no offense to hockey players. it jst stricked me so i was curious.

freshies dint show their enthu in anything other than just making a fun of themselves. but some of them realli pissed us off. it is assumed that th freshie is nervous in front of his seniors but some of them answer which proves idiocy not nervousness.
taking an example which happened some dez ago but i was not able to post due to a busy hectic schedule.
senior : who is our railway minister?
freshie(confidently): lal bahadur shastri. (he dint knw until ew told him who it was)

he dint know how many states india has. later he wanted a pen n a paper to count. he wrote 25 of them including the north eastern 7 but missing out some in the center. he had spelled 9 of them wrong. he had written 1 of the states as manipal. please dont get surprised coz theirs yet to come. state capitals was nice try.
he hadnt sung the national anthem since 5th class n he after bulbing a lot had told it was written by rabindranath tagore( lucky him!!!) but oops he had written it in telugu as told by our freshie.
he couldnt sing the national anthem full and had no idea what a republic day was.
no offense freshies but these things are supposed to be in ur permanent harddrive unlike ur pendrive. particularising the guy if u ever happen to read this : if u had paid 1/10th attention in ur primary school that u paid in jee things would have been dfrnt. gudluck
