ME against MYSELF

Exams over, parties awaiting, interview cancelled, Heavy rain, traffic jam. It was time to go home after my end-sems. Finally i reached my train very peacefully and was dead asleep as soon as i boarded the train. Woke up the next morning at 6. was wondering why i got up so early. it was all dark in the compartment and everybody was sleeping. Wanted to do something creative but i never had anything. saw a newspaper lying there, i picked it up and the Bombay blasts were there on the front page which got me boiling. To release my anger i just looked outside of the window. i dint want those thoughts. Wanted to know where i was but every1 was asleep. i lukd outside and i saw open vast fields extending to the hills. the hills standing high. i never knew where i was. god had forgotten to make the difference in the plains and the hills and the sun that had just come up behind the hills. How the heck do i know where i am? i walked out opened the door and lukd outside. the wind hit me on my face. i saw a farmer standing with his son. both of them started to wave their hands. i looked at them. when i jst crossed them i could see the smile of the small child fade away. i quickly tuk out my hand off my pocket and waved at him. the smile came out a bigger 1 n he started to wave faster running and jumping around his father. he kept waving to every1 and soon he was lost and the train sped up. still no difference. the sun came up fully and i walked back to my seat. the guy in frnt of me had woken up. he tuk my slippers went out and came in smiling and more fresh. he wanted to chat and he started off "what happened in Bombay? did they kill all the terrorists??" i dint have an answer. i dint know why these people started killing in the first place. would the terrorist have waved someone on the train when he was a child? would he have known where he was if he had just got up from his sleep? what is the difference that he has seen i couldn't? has god made the differences? why are they doing it? why do they risk their lives to kill other people?
i was fighting to answer myself. "wait for it. let me answer." but the questions kept on coming like bullets and i lost.
god never made the differences. may be he just classified us to make it easier to rule. so that he could take care of us all. people who are killing other innocent people on the name of religion, i just have one question for them - "Is your god so weak that he can't do it himself and he had to send you to do it??"

EDUCATION Vs. LITERACY

MY teacher set me to thinking when he said people have become literate but they could never be educated. i wondered for a long time when some daily sigtings cleared my doubts. spitting on the "don't spit here" sign would be a very small example. These are small things taught in school and it gradually decreases when we grow up n get in a college coz its expected of us to be matured enough to educate ourselves. but we dont differentiate btwn the two. Finally we manage to make us literates but dont manage to educate ourselves. Ain't it??

Do we need a younger dean???

Lan cut has definitly become an issue in th insti. and the dean in his defense said thst junta are watching objectionable stuff. but that noway stops people watching objectionable stuff because people here are smart enough to download and keep it on their comps. this step was initially taken by the dean of iit bombay. (thank u so mch sir for puttin it to the ears of our dean.)
but a smarter option definitly wud have been making the class rums airconditioned. people rather than staying at home wud want to spnd their time in class. and two split ac's on eithr side of the frst bnch wch wud also b an additional cooling to th prof teachng. now that wud drag most of the junta to the frst bench.
ya it wud cost a lot of money but for an elite instituition in th country it shudnt be a problem when it vll increase th so called "average cgpa" of th insti, wch vll guarantee bttr individuals. and if we can break a small gym n make a bigger gym we shud b able to do this also.
